About the Editors
Yuriy Borysovych MELNYK is a scientist, a lecturer, a
psychologist and a civic leader.
He holds a PhD in Pedagogy, MPSI, MIM, MPES and is an
Affiliated Associate Professor.
He worked in general education institutions, vocational and
technical institutions, higher education institutions and public
organisations for over twenty-five years as
a
teacher,
psychologist, Head of the Psychology and Healthy Lifestyle
Department, Associate Professor in the Psychology Department
and Professor in the Psychology and Pedagogy Department.
He developed and implemented training programmes for schoolchildren and undergraduate
and postgraduate students. He also developed pedagogical and psychological research
methodologies and technologies for various levels of implementation, including
organisational and managerial, socio-pedagogical and educational levels. He has many years
of experience in organising international scientific conferences, training courses, and
masterclasses. He has also organised international competitions for young scientists.
Author of over 200 scientific works, including dissertations, monographs, articles in
international peer-reviewed journals, conference proceedings, congress and symposium
collections, as well as textbooks and programmes. These publications cover a range of
topics, including artificial intelligence, blockchain technology, virtual assets, educational
management, pedagogical logistics, psychology, psychotechnology and health culture. He
introduced the concept of the “Human-AI System” into scientific discourse and developed
the AIC “AI Chatbots Attribution”.
He currently holds the positions of Professor of the Laboratory of Psychological Research
and Director of the Scientific Research Institute. He is also Chairman of the Board of Public
Organisations. He participates in research aimed at studying the legal and ethical aspects of
the use of artificial intelligence, as well as the practical possibilities of implementing AI in
the field of education.
Mmatshuene Anna SEGOOA holds a Doctor of Computing
(Informatics) and is a recognised award-winning academic and
researcher.
She is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Informatics,
Faculty of ICT, Tshwane University of Technology (South
Africa), leading international collaborations and partnerships with
experience in securing funding for research and mobility projects.
She has expertise in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate
diploma courses, developing short learning programmes,
reviewing qualifications, and supervising master’s and doctoral students to graduation.
She has authored and co-authored 30 publications in Information Systems, focusing on
Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, Information System Security, Cloud Computing,
Design Science Research, and Systematic Literature Reviews, particularly in ICT4D.
Dr. Segooa has served as organiser and session chair of international conferences, reviewer
for local and international journals, Master of Ceremony, moderator, faculty Research Day
adjudicator, keynote speaker, external examiner, and graduation name reader. She continues
to mentor emerging researchers, foster global partnerships, and advance research impact
locally and internationally.
